KymiRing is Northern Europe’s only GP Circuit fulfilling the highest requirements of FIM and FIA. The track is 4,5 kilometers long with 21 curves and has an altitude difference of 18 meters. The length of the main straight is 1.1 km – the longest GP straight in Europe.

Tough start
KymiRing has had its share of trouble getting a brand new motorsports centre started, not least the Covid-19 pandemic, which prevented the all-important first races planned for 2020, 2021 and 2022 and exhausted funds. But now the track has a new lease on life.
KymiRing circuit has new owners, namely Finland Motorsport Circuit Holding Oy with Hungarian / Finnish background – Kornél Öry, Mika Wilska.
Location
Distance from Helsinki airport only about 90 min on E18 towards Kouvola, some 150km from Helsinki centre. Capacity crowd is 150 000 and the shape of the terrain allows good views across the track from various spectator areas.
KymiRing’s huge 180 hectares circuit area with modern facilities offers various possibilities for both motorsports and automotive testing industry.

Some bends have a camber at different points of the track with a maximum of 10%; it will help adjacent driving and overtaking possibilities, by giving more grip. The hard braking zone at the end of the long back straight is surely the best spot for wheel-to-wheel action. “
